Where can I buy a bike in Freiburg?+
At Bike Haus Freiburg, Heckerstraße 27, 79114 Freiburg im Breisgau. We have over 100 new and used bikes in stock — just stop by, no appointment needed.
Can I test ride a bike before buying?+
Yes! All bikes can be test ridden during our opening hours — no appointment required.
Do you offer warranty on used bikes?+
Every used bike is technically inspected. You get 3 days return policy and 3 months warranty on all used bikes. New bikes come with 24 months warranty.
How much does a used bike cost?+
Used bikes start from approx. €180. Used e-bikes from approx. €800. All prices are fairly calculated.
Do you have used e-bikes?+
Yes, we offer high-quality used e-bikes with documented battery condition and warranty.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept cash, debit card, credit card, PayPal and bank transfer.
Do you buy used bikes?+
Yes, we buy used brand-name bikes and e-bikes in good condition. First send us photos, bike details and your asking price on WhatsApp — once we confirm, bring it in and get paid immediately (cash, bank transfer or PayPal).
What bike types do you carry?+
City bikes, trekking bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, children's bikes, Dutch bikes and road bikes — both new and used.
What are your opening hours?+
Mo–Do 11:00–17:00 Fr 11:00–13:00 und 15:00–18:00 Sa 11:30–17:00 So geschlossen Fahrradverleih: Übergabe Mo–Fr ab 10 Uhr, Sa ab 11 Uhr – Rückgabe bis 18 Uhr
Can I rent a bike in Freiburg?+
Yes. Bike Haus Freiburg rents city bikes, trekking bikes and e-bikes with prices configured per bike for days 1 to 7. From day 8 onward, a fixed extra-day surcharge is added to the 7-day price. No reservation needed — just come by Heckerstraße 27.
